Default Possessed Starter

So when I got my ride the guy told me the starter didn't work. Yeasterday after a short ride. Just for kicks and giggles I tried the starter and it worked great. I tried it 4 more times in a row and it poped to life. No problemo. I went to lunch and came back. Hit it and sshhhzzzz clackkkk. Then nothing.

Got up this morning I tried it and it worked.

Perhaps the battery??? What do ya think?

I'd take a good look at connections.

Make sure you have a fully charged healthy battery it's a good idea to buy and use a battery tender . Like Scooter said check all connections make sure there tight and clean . If still not working properly it could be the starter itself or your Bendix drive .

Same thing happened to me,turned out a bush in the starter was sticking, I cleaned and lubed it and its been working for 3 years now.

Hitting the starter with a punch bar and hammer and it works again is one tell tail sign of a sticking brush.
