I did some more testing today. I filled both 1 gallon tanks. One tank all the way up and the other 1/2 way. I then parked the quad out in the sun all day. It was 96 out side. IT WAS A HOT ONE TODAY!! I was very happy to see the swelling of the tanks was minimal and did not affect closing the lid as shown in the picture.

You don't get the smell of gas inside the storage box? Looks to risky to me, one leak and everything else inside the box will be shot. I have mine mounted one on each side of my rear box, if someone really needs to steal 2 gallons of gas well ... it hasn't happened yet. If it does I just hope they leave my cans.

No smell no. Has nothing to do with stealing. Has to do with blocking the head light as posted.

I'm not criticizing, I just have so much "stuff" packed into my storage area's I was wondering about the smell issue. I meant no offense.
