Default 99' Scrambler 500 4x4 - Transmission/Gearcase Drain Plug Location

Hello again,

99' Scrambler 500 4x4 - 4 Stroke

I feel stupid asking this question; but, maybe in the future it will help someone else out too.

Where is the transmission drain plug and the transmission fill plug?

From what I can tell the fill plug is located on the left side of the bike (while looking at the front of the bike) it is on the top side of what I would call the "prop shaft" housing.

I cannot find the transmission drain plug; I have read that it is on the right side of the bike, the only "bolt" head I see that could be a plug would dump all of the oil directly on top of the skid plate?

Sounds right to me. I had to take the plastic skid plate off mine to access the plug. I did a trans swap so it all had to come off anyway.
