...well personally...I almost never use the floor lever rear brake on my XP...so not sure.

I can say...that inherently 4 brakes are better than 3 brakes. Especially with an ATV that size and weight. It isn't going to keep me from buying one...just good to know the change from my XP.

So excited to purchase the two Touring XP’s!

My rear foot brake leaver can lock up the rear wheel if pushed hard enough, like most people I just use the hand brake which is set at 60% front and 40% rear. The twin front brakes do most of the stopping. Every ATV I see have and only been a single rear brake even the ATVs with weaker grabbing drum brakes set ups.

Dual rear brakes is just more mechanic than needed,I think. Even Big street bikes have twin disk brakes on the front wheel and only a single on the back wheel.

Just a quick update...

New For 2011 models
• Larger fuel tank (5.25 gal.)
• LuK engine coupler
• Front mount electrical center for easy access and improved weight bias
• Digital/analog gauge
• Lock & Ride rear storage box accessory (in place of Pass. Seat)
• New Rear Suspension (10.25 in/26 cm travel)
• Passenger seat base design-improved comfort and stability
• Comfort ride-improved passenger spring and shock control
• Lock & Ride passenger handgrips removable for one-up operation
