you might have too much slack in the cable, now causing the electric throttle control to engage. you may want to po the top off of the thumb throttle and look inside and adjust your slack to where those ttwo soldered wires are not touching, you should have a 1/16-1/8" gap, then do your idle-carb.adjustments then go back and reset air gap adjustment again

Ok I can only get it to start on starting fluid which leads me to believe that its a fuel issue. I have plenty of flow when I take off the fuel line at the carb, so Im a bit puzzled. I havent adjusted the choke because mainly Im not sure how and also I havent touched it and it ran fine before.

As for the electronic throttle control I cant seem to adjust it enough to where it doesnt touch I run out of threads on the adjustment screw at the handle bars. Is there a way to just bypass those wires? Right now I have to tape the thumb lever to the hand grip so they dont touch as Im trying to pull start it.

Again Im a quad novice and maybe Im missing something simple here but I dont know for sure.

It does idle decent now when I use the starting fluid to turn it over but doesnt stay running long enough to do a proper job.

Sorry for being a pain, just want to get it running before it gets too cold to be in the garage.

Thanks

I should also mention that when it is started and I hit the throttle it act like it floods out and stalls.

the needle and seat in the carb might be bad or ur float is stuck if ur oil is high, smell ur oil and if it smells gassy than it is either the needle and seat or the float

You can take up the slack on a 2 stroke on top of the carb, screw the handlebar adjustment together and adjust the slack out on top of carb,
