Default Reversing issue

Delay when in reverse.

I'm sure it's been done before but the search tool on the forum is sometimes too good.

I was out in the snow last weekend and gave my bike a pretty hard time and I was very happy with it's performance. We did a lot of high rev riding in both low and high and also a lot of reversing. Basically we were trying to cut a trail in deep snow, sometimes getting 30 yards and other times just 3. I'd get stuck, stick it in reverse and get the hell out, sometimes with difficulty.

The issue I have noticed while out tonight is the delay on drive take up in reverse. A couple of times I was stuck whilst reversing and assumed because of the revs my wheels were spinning when in fact they were not. When I increased the revs the bike would jump backwards and drive fine.

I'm guessing I've done something to the clutch pack last weekend with all the thrashing.

In short, the bike needs more revs than it used to (in reverse) take up drive.

I can't see any difference in forward gears.

Thank you in advance...

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!
