would it be smart to put a cherry bomb glasspack on my 01 sportsman 400 there are no aftermarket pipes for it

 

You could probably put one on there you just have to jet it accordingly

 

you'll have to snorkel the tailpipe ,so that the motor won't hydrolock. That's one of the exclusive things about polaris's oem mufflers ,they've got that lil baffle thing inside it.
If you want more out of it,go up about 5 steps on the main jet, on those depending on the needle, you can go 150 -154

 

Also need to be aware of the regs in your state about exhausts. I know in MN you do not want to get caught without a spark arrestor and the cherry bomb won't have that. Probably sound cool though.
