I like my bearclaws. My buddie has mud lites and has poked the sidewall on two different tires. We ride the same areas and my bearclaws have survived. Another buddie has poked the sidewalls on his stock scrambler tires. I think they were itp 489's.

The bearclaw tires were average but not near the quality tire the MudLite was. MudLite ride much smoother and is a better all around tire. For the Magnum application the MudLite seems like a better choice in my opinion.

Good luck and ride safe.

I know several guys with Kenda Bearclaws and they love them. They're a good all around tire. They also wear well and they seem to be quite resistant to punctures and cuts.

As for mudlites, mudlite XTRs I've heard mixed reviews. The guys over at highlifter seem to hate the things with a passion.
