Not sure of the XPs new technology. Double A arm front suspension is new for the Sportsman but has been on many other ATVs for years. Side way mounted motor just makes a belt change harder. XP still has the same AWD system that all Polaris have.
I,m not even sure if Polaris addressed the plastic roller cage issue with the XP.
For a extra $200 I would get the 750 KQ over a XP550, plus the Suzuki uses a higher tec DOHC motor the XP still uses the SOHC set up that fuji always made.
Add Power steering to the XP550 and it acually cost more than a 750 KQ. http://www.atvreviewnetwork.com/enth...2=199401&go=Go
