It was 40 degrees out today and I got a chance to go out and mess with the gear lever, and what do you know, it went through the gears perfectly! So I guess there must be water in there. Do I pull off that whole case cover? There are 5 10mm bolts on it and the tranny sensor. Or do I just need to remove the one 13mm bolt to just pull the lever part out of the tranny? I would hate to screw something up...

I meant, how is the water getting in? I would want to grease up the area and seal it well.
