I was gonna say, Abernathys in Tennessee sells them for $8,394 With power steering and they are 2011 models. $7,394 for a 2011 non power steering. Or $6,700 for a plain 2010 850xp. Maybe you can make a deal. good luck. heres the link...

Thanks for the link. To bad they are so far away. The gas price alone would eat up any savings. I will show it to my dealer and see if they can come down on their price any, but I checked all the local area dealers and they are right in line with a couple and cheaper than most of the others.

I listed mine on Craigslist last night. I have gotten several responses, but they have all been lowball offers or scammers.

I am asking $2000 for it. Judging by the pictures I put up, is that a good price, or should I come down more. Just looking for an honest opinion.

For a 2000 with 3000+ miles and all the issues...IMHO...I think you are asking to much. However...asking is one thing...and getting is another.

The way I see it...is ask what you want...and then have a minimum you would be willing to take. Gives both involved...a good feeling...that a deal was made.

Good luck!

lol, went out today to the shed and took a quick look over the 2000 Sportsman. The voltage had returned to 13v where it should be and there was not a drop of liquid in the combustion chamber.

I drove it around for about 20 minutes and it did not overheat at all. Of course I wasn't going very fast and it was 45 degrees out. On one hand, I would like to keep it for my wife to ride when she goes out with me,but I also know it won't be reliable enough for that. Also, part of the deal for me getting the new one was that I sell the old one.

Oh well, just thought it was strange that the voltage returned to normal without me changing the battery.

I got to where I put a higher price on stuff I sell there. When I sold my kfx I had a kid (sounded like he was 12) begging me to sell it to him for 1000 (asking 3000) because all his friends had one.
