Default another awd problem

we all no that the front coil needs 12 volts to work. but does it? my 04 700 awd works but takes me a few wacks of the throttle for it to engage.

when i check the battery it reads 11.2. bike starts fine but after about 5-6 mins of running the battery light comes on and the needle flashes.

the question is if the voltage is down could the awd not work till the rpm come up and the voltage comes up over 12?

also my override button acts funny....... works fine the awd light comes on when pushed and the speedo says slow, but i i dont push it i still have full power in reverse. the awd wont work unless pushed like it should, but why in 2wd do i have full power?

If battery is weak it will cause problems, is it c, harging, does volage come up to 13.5 or more at battery when you rev it up?A good battery will show over 12 volts when shut off

th battery should be 12.4+ voltsif it's a good battery off and running it will push 13.5+-volts. i would say charge the battery 100% and then try to see if the issue is still there to pin point if thats the cause. imo
