Heater hose works very nice. Me and my brother were working on his 97 last night and removed the rear shocks. Both were wore out really bad and all it took was cutting the length and sliding the hose into place. Made for a tight fit too. I cant remember what size hose it was right off hand, but it was a standard size. Not hard to find at all.

Default Shock bushing replacements: Sportsman & Trail Boss

My rear shock bushings on my 1999 Polaris Sportsman 500 deteriorated and only the steel sleeve was left. I tried going to Polaris but they don't sell just the bushing, only the entire shock at $140 each. I know the bushings are available on ebay for both the Trail Boss (rear mono-shock) and the Sportsman (dual rear shocks). You should be able to search for them by typing "Polaris ATV Shock Bushings" in the ebay search tool. They work great.
