No I didn't..By the way glad to here from you again...You helped me out last time around..lol...Is that slit in the hose there for a reason or is it just a pipe dream???I definitely gotta take a closer look...Not much room without taking some of the front of the machine apart...Thank you again...

your right that hose is a pain but that hose gets saturated with oil and it starts leaking from that slit and runs along the hose down to the breather on the valve cover and it drips right there i'm almost sure if you replace that hose and clean that area up it will fix your leak

If I replace the breather hose with a piece with no slit do I take a chance of causing a problem??I really doubt it...Gonna dig into it 2morrow...thanks...

Just wanted to update on my oil leak...Finally got around to tearing machine apart and replacing valve cover gasket...That's what I narrowed it down to...Also had a bad water pump cover gasket leak to, put new one on as well, torqued all bolts to spec and all seems well..Oh yea, threw on a new drive belt too and glad I did...Original belt was gettin cracks in it..Gonna carry it with me on rides as a spare...Flushed coolant too...No leaks so far...
