I have a 500HO as well as an 850 Touring. You are right about better fuel mileage and I have always been able to go anywhere I wanted to. I have had just as much fun on that 500 as I would have on anything else. Now, I'm 63 YO and I really appreciate the smoothness, instantaneous power, and power steering of my 850. Will I have more fun...maybe not, but I can ride all day without fatigue or shoulder pain and I really appreciate riding the Cadillac of quads. It's a splurge, not a necessity but I'd never go back to a single jug machine.
