I am also one of the blessed ones who has a wife that doesn't force it to be an either me or that situation. She goes on rides on the fold down seat on the X2 with me maybe a couple times a year. The rest of the time she gives me the freedom to take off with buddies to hit the trails. We even did a winter trip this year when it was about 18 and my quad broke through a 3" layer of ice over 10" of water over 4' of ice. Couldn't get the quad out. She thought we were going through all the way and hopped off. I couldn't get enough traction on the ice so she flagged down my son who got the other guys to come with their quads and by daisy chaining two quads with straps we finally got my quad out. She went home with my son and my buddy's son in my truck with a nice smile. We got to do another 60 miles or so. She said, "I just like to see what you're up to." "You don't have to take me on winter rides anymore." It will be 25 good years this October.

 

My wife enjoys camping and riding as much as I do but she still lets me go with just the guys when I want. Heading to Moab without her next week and she is ok with that. She was also the only female on our annual New Years Day ride this year. High temp. of 2 and winds gusting to 30 mph, blowing snow and never a complaint. We started riding about 3 years ago two up on a Polaris X2. Lasted about a year and a half before she wanted her own. Now she rides a Sportsman 500 and I ride my XP 850.

 

You guys kick A$$! Dont get me wrong, if anyone took my thread seriously, there isnt anything that I wouldnt give up for my wife as well, I was just thinking of some possible responses that some of you would come up with and thought it would be fun / funny. Glad to see that there are allot of couples out there that enjoy riding together as well as alone. Its all good...hope everyone has a great summer this year!

yep, you're right. anyone can talk it. i ain't got nothing to hide. therefore, i walk the walk. life is good.

 

I let my husband ride with me most of the time. And if he decides he wants to go play on the boat I can go riding without him

 

ran the red headed huzzie off 4 years ago,..her an my ex best freind started rideing shortly after,...my kids started rideing with them,..then thay got on to daddy to get one to ride,...that was last summer,..now on my 2nd 4wheeler,..a 2smoke,..xplorer,...an wish i started riding 25 years ago!!!! had it up to the fenders in creek water today!!,..guess im in my 2nd child hood,..cause it dont get no gooder than this!!!
