I finally got to stop by my local auto paint shop and they told me that it could be done MOSTLY permanent for somewhere around the $300 range.... I didn't get a chance to try the fusion paint yet, but i'm still gonna to see how well it flexes without cracking and peeling.

I'm gonna be doing some calling around to get the details on the vinyl also, but I gotta check this fusion stuff out too. Cause if it doesn't peel and/or crack it could very well be the way to go... I just gotta see how it is on atv plastics

If you have seen paint on a plastic bumper on a car peel it's because there are several different plastics and they take different prep and product. Good luck with Fusion but I would clean the underside of a fender and side panel and paint those then run the quad for a few trips before trusting it to the top side.
