No AWD in Reverse
#11
Last week I finally put a voltmeter on my quad, it ran at 11.2 at idle and 12.4 at 3000 (or what I guessed to be 300 rpm). I rode it yesterday, and the lights started to go dim. Shortly after I turned the at off to see if would start, and as you can assume the battery was dead. Did the stator finally play out?

I would take the battery back to where you purchased it and have it load tested first! Most batteries have a six month warranty depending on brand especially if bad. Voltage is LOW also, but check the battery first. If you do have a new regulator should show 14 volts. If the battery checks out OK,then since its an 02 700 the Ducati stator could be the problem. These are NO longer available. Complete new Kokusan ignition kits have to be installed. Most of the time the Ducati system would just quit running and lose spark, but charging problems too can start first. The replacement kit # is 2202602. Comes complete with a new stator,flywheel,cdi,coil,regulator/rectifier,jumper harness kit and instructions. Keep us updated. OPT
