fan motor on 2004 Sportsman 500HO

My friend says he was able to replace just the bearing on the fan....matched one up from napa for under 20$.

How hard would it be to replace just the fan motor? They are on ebay pretty cheap....sorry for the stupid questions......but I have never done this before.It would be great to spend 20.00 and fix it.

You would still have to take the whole fan out to change the motor. I also heard some kind of car fan fits right on but I forget from which kind of car. It might be in this link if you want to read through it. Make a list of common numbers we need

Yeah, I figured I would but it would be nice to spend 20.00 on a motor than to spend 85.00 on the whole assembly
