I have a 500 sportsman HO and I am not getting spark.It looks like i an not getting power too the coil ,Could it be the ignition moduler .Can someone tell me how to trobleshoot it.
Someome eles told me that my be the stator is goning bad so what the best way to check it?

 

Welcome to the forum! Resistance checks on the trigger (pulser) coil are needed along with specs on the stator charge coil. A cheap Clymer or Haynes manual can help OR if you post your specific year model other members may have the manual and the specs you need to trouble shoot the electrical.Most of the no fire problems were stator related (especially on the older models),BUT with electrical anything is possible! OPT
