lets not start a pissing or bashing match on who's or what is better for a bike. we all have are own views, and can "repectfully" give opinions and no more.

Honda and Polaris do not make carbs/throttle bodies. Honda uses Keihin and Polaris uses Mikuni. Hope your 50$ part is worth loosing a IRS ride,Low range, rear disc brakes, true 4wd and 10hp.

I still can't figure out what kind of trails (roads) you ride to average over 16 mph??
So true. ,Im lucky to hold 16mph for 50 feet before the next nasty part.

I got the same problem on my Scrambler, leaking out the overflow so i took it apart and cleaned it good put it back on and it still did it, float is set correct so i changed out the needle and seat and it still does it...not alot but a few drops here and there.

Come to Wisconsin!! Black river falls you could AVG 40 mph with the race quads, last weekend I for the first time took my GPS and did see a AVG for a 100 M trip we did and it was 18 mph...the bad part of acouple trails brought it down, most of our marked trails in the state have been Improved to the point there not alot of fun anymore...but im not complaining..rainy season is still good and we do get some mud still, but the gravel fill is being put in.

I know comparing differences between a sport quad and a utility is like comparing apples to oranges. BUT, a buddy of mine has a zuki eiger and I rode it for the first time a few days ago and my 400 trailblazer has a ride that shames that thing. I've never ridden a sportsman, but I could only imagine that the ride is even more cush. Like it's been said, atvs are a "luxury item" and as such they cost to maintain and the more you use them, the more often maintenence and upkeep are required. I've been having a problem with the overflow on mine as only a few drops as the motor idles down, but I haven't ONCE thought about getting rid of it because of it. Honda does make a reliable machine but the cost of repairs seem more costly comparably to other models(polaris, ect.) I'm not bashing or being derogatory towards any brand but imho polaris is a superior machine to most(if not all). The TRUE awd is a nice thing to have instead of 2.5 or 3wd

Just the early ones and the LC4 had the carb leaking problem. Most of em now have flat slide carbs. NEVER anything wrong with the DUKE itself, great street machine. OPT
