Default 2000 Scrambler 400 wont stay running

OK Im throwing in the towel, I need help!
As stated, I have a 2000 Scrambler with a 2 stroke 400 DB racing engine(that part isnt important I just like to say it). It will not stay running for more then a few minutes. I have rebuilt the carb, I had a pinched vent line, and I have tinkered but I still cannot get the dang thing to stay running.

I have not checked to see if the oil cable is wide open, partly because the cable seems to move with the throttle and partly because Im not sure how to. On that subject how hard is it to bypass it and just premix my fuel and oil?

Any input or suggestions would be nice, just be gentle Im a newbie.

Have you checked compression? Rings could be loosing seal against cylinder when it gets warm?? OPT

do you know if the carb is flooding motor out? OPT has a great idea, check compression with compression tester to see if rings are shot.
