2007 Polaris 500 - Brake Lever Replace

2007 Polaris 500 - Brake Lever Replace
I have ordered the replacement brake lever, and waiting for it to arrive. Mine is bent after a roll. Looking at the assembly, it appears to be a straight pin with a retainer clip. What is the best way to remove and reinstall this pin?

is this a trick question 
remove clip.....
pull pin out....
put in new lever...
push pin back in....
replace clip.
if this takes you more then 5 minutes... sell the atv.
