I took off the recoil starter assembly and cant figure out how to remove the pully and components.. anyone know how to do this, it looks simple but cant get the pully to unthread

 

Welcome to the forum! WHAT atv do you have ?? Two different kind of recoil assemblies are used depending on model!
Plus the flywheel uses different size metric bolts to use with a puller. Standard steering wheel puller is usually sufficient but you will need either three 6mm or three 8 mm long bolts for the flywheel if you are trying to remove it. OPT
