These are fairly new from STI. They are their Black Diamond XTRs.

They were disigned for SxS and at 2 1/2 psi I have found them to a great all around tire.

those are some nice tires- but I'd imagine they would dig too much in the snow and leave your atv sitting on its belly?

Last winter, I was gonna heat'em up with a stick of dynamite!! It would've been all good though, The explosion, would have blew me completely away from the fire!!!

What about the 2.0 Big Horns? Is most or all of the replies about the BH based mostly on the original Big Horn? I have wanted a set of the 2.0's...but wondered if it is basically the same (I think they made them softer and lighter than the original BH's)

I'll find out. The snow is a little different everywhere and I've never seen an ATV paddle across the top of it here. You either dig down or buy a set of tracks.

I saved my ACT HDs for the winter, they only have a few hundred miles on them and they're still on my OE wheels.

I'll ride these until I get a chance to see how they do in the snow and save whats left for next summer unless I get something else to run for a while.

They look like swamp lites to me. What ply are they and how is the weight?
