2009 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO

Went to Lake City, CO in the last week of June and had trouble with my machine, when I was pulling fairly hard in low gear ( would go approx 60-80 yds) it would try to die, only way it would go would blow back through the gas tank vent, it was fine in high. It did it the first time out after just going 1/4 mile or so, the next day we rode almost 60 miles with out a problem, then it did it every day after that. I'm from MO and I put the recommended jet in it (147.5) Any Ideas ??

Took it out there last year and I didn't have any problems, talked to some engine people, they said it could be the fuel, they said you need to burn at least super unleaded, because it has less ethanol in it. It can leave some stuff in the bottom of the bowl. What part are you going to ?? Hunting or just riding ??

Mainly a hunter,I do more trail riding during turkey season because the turkeys get the afternoons off from being hunted and that leaves me with time for a little sight seeing.I may do more trail riding from now on ,am retiring this month and have a membership over at Cloud 9 Ranch that hasn't gotten used much in the last 18 years.
Thanks for the tip on the super fuel,I will definitely use that when I fill up.
