Will a hpd hopped up 2001 trailblazer keep up with a new 2001 400 scrambler?

Im getting a new 2001 400 2x4 scrambler in the next few days and my daughter is worried about not being able to keep up with me on the trails with her 2001 trailblazer. My question is if I do the HPD thing with pipe and clutch kit will It keep up? Right now she can keep up with me on tight trails and does realy good so she is good enough to have more power.
Thanks for any help...

From what has been said already, it sounds like the modded TB will keep up with the Scram on the low and mid range. But the TB still does not have the top end that the Scram has.
Don't be to concerned about not keeping up. I can keep up with my friends 400 Scrams on the trail on my TB most of the time. Only when the trails open up do they walk away.

I think it should on the trails and little straight aways. I ride with a Scrambler 400 and a Scrambler 500 and in the trails I can stay right with them. The same goes for little straight aways. But they are still faster when we hit long straightaways (roads). But not by much, the pipe does add some speed to the Trailblazer.
