Default 2009 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO

I have a 2009 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO that dies for no reason, it just dies like you have turned off the key. It has just done it 3 or 4 times.
It's always done it when at low speed and low rpm. Any ideas ??

Make sure you have 1/8"slack ONLY at the thumb throttle. Too loose and the etc switch contact points will touch and cause it to die out at idle, low rpms. OPT

Make sure you don't have a keychain on your keys...
Is it shutting down when you turn?
Anymore info?

I know it's not the key, the last time it did it was Sunday and I was going through some reaaaally thick brush ( someplace where I shouldn't have been) and was not going anywhere trying to decide how to get out and it died, so I just pulled the brake handle and started it up. When I get time this week I will look at the throttle cable, I would say that is where my probably is. Thanks guys I keep you up to date.
