hard riding is when she says "thank you" and welcomes you back for more- abusive riding is when you're begging for it 2 months later and all she does is slam the door...

GBC Grim Reapers and my 2012 550 Touring EPS in the snow - YouTube

Here's a video climbing a snow covered hill with the Grim Reapers in the WOT mode all the way.

So far these are turning out to be great tires in the snow.

The snow is like little ice ***** and the ground underneath is frozen. The tires "paddled"
their way through the snow down the frozen ground and them kept digging.

The snow seemed to vary from 8-12" and I was dragging the bottom of the ATV most of the way up the hill.

It's not real exciting.

Hot damn, those are some big elk I've never seen one up close. Matter of fact, the only moose I've even seen up close rides an X2 so I don't think that counts either

I'm impressed that with all that heavy throttle in high, dragging the rear it never seemed like the belt slipped (although it's hard to tell in the video). Overall it looked like the PoPo took it well.

This one got caught up in the fence. Looks like he tried to go over it and broke his neck.
I contacted the owners to let them know it was there and they told me scored 416.
That's about $11k stuck there in the fence.

I never felt the belt slip at all. It stayed pretty close to 10 mph on the speedo in high and low.

I thought it did pretty good too as did the tires.

That rots. I love elk steaks. Mmmmm....

One reason I'd like to get the XP version of the X2 is its ability to go up to 35 in low. Most I will go is 20 and it gets loud at that speed. We have a lot of trails here that are a mix of rough sections where low and slow is the best approach. Then you hit a section that's smooth enough to do 25-30 or so. It gets old fast to switch back and forth all the time.

I'll see how fast mine will go in low. I can barely get 50 out of it in high on level ground.
