Default Eagle Plow Gen II frount mount pics ... What do you all think

I just got the American Manufacturing Eagle front mount GenII front plow mount plate installed.

What do you guys think?

I did some reading and opted not to go with the Glacier setup

Some of the glacier II mount pics i have seen, look similar to this one though??

The plate looks nice and sturdy and weighs 10 pounds. Seems like there may be a stronger place to attach though. The top 2 bolts go through the oval holes under the radiator with square washers on the back. The bottom 2 bolts go through the oval holes on the bottom in front of the A arm bolts with special spacers that hold the plate out about 1 inch

I will check back in after it gets some use.

Hope the picsI included attach.

Looks sturdy enough but seems like you lose some ground clearance.

ya it does hang down. I will probally take it off in the regular season.

I really liked the warn provantage front mount, it had a square tube that went behind the front frame and didnt hang down at all. looked pretty beefy too. But they do not make a front mount for my 2007 800spx2

looks plenty strong enough. as far as loosing clearance it's better then alot of i have seen and besides in the winter it's not like you do woods riding and i'm sure it wil come off easy enough.

I do not know what the difference is on the front of the x2 I contacted Warn several times and they told me "they did not have a mount"??????

Eagle did not list my mount either, after contacting them they said they "they thought there mount would fit" he sent me the installation instructions and asked me "if I thought it would fit????"

They wouldnt even guarantee the fit for return shipping.

Seems to fit right though

I dont know what the deal with the x2 is??

Makes me wonder if the warn would have fit, and they just didnt take the time to look into it?
