Shifting into gear......
#1
I've noticed a crunching or grinding type noise when I shift my quad. Kinda like a manual trans car if you shift without the clutch being fully engaged. I'm wondering if I'm shifting too hard or what? Or, is the clicking sound a sign that the quad is actually going into gear?
I mean, if i don't use some force when I shift the quad will actually clip outta gear. For instance if I use a soft pull on the shifter to go in rev, it might slip back into neutral.
Am I just paranoid or is what's happening normal?

Okay thanks. I'll try both. Especially the brake lever issue. I know that i don't shif/change unless the quad is at a complete stop, but I'm sure I pay special attention to what I'm doing with the brake lever.
