Default thinking about another quad

last spring (May) I purchased a new sportsman 500 I love it I am thinking about getting a 2nd quad this summer and want your opinions I am leaning towards the X2 has the dump bed and can convert to a 2 up if needed but whats the difference other than the obvious dump bed in the 2 up and X2 machines? I am leaning towards one that hopefully would have EPS and turf mode as I am tired of planting grass where my 500 keeps tearing it up when I take it out or put it away. I want something that if needed I can have a rider and be more comfortable than I am on the current quad but wont need it all the time. I am looking at an additional quad for several reasons 1)when my wife wants to go with me 2)friends and family that want to ride with me 3) a spare if my current quad needs work 4) there is several times cutting trees and hauling that a 2nd would be nice to be able to get it done faster. so no I dont NEED another but its more of a want to make life easier and give me more options as probably 90% of this idea is due to others wanting to ride and they dont have one cant afford one wife wont let them get one etc.. so trying to be a nice guy

The one wheel drive feature is really great. IF you get a two up you will love the way it handles so much you'll turn the other one into the backup.

The X2 does have Turf Mode but not power steering. They carry a 550 now and you probably can still find the 850 out there. The dumpbed is pretty nice to have. I built some wood sides with dowels that slide into the lock-n-ride holes on the dumpbox to make the box deeper. With that heaped up I can fill a woodrack that holds 1/3 of a cord in about 5 trips or so. The other major difference is that the X2 has true 400 lb. rated springs in the rear. They are great for carrying loads. Very little squat so you don't lose much ground clearance when fully loaded. The Turf Mode is nice for tight turns and not digging up your lawn as much as a regular quad. It's also nice to have on those occasions when you're on pavement and have to turn.

its not just for others its also for my wife and a second one to help with things that need to be done and those that would be borrowing it are my family (daughter, brother, brother in law)

I've got a super nice 2008 800 X2 I'm likely selling soon. Stealth black, winch, aluminum wheels, brushguard, heated grips, etc. 1,000 miles / 150 hours on it. Only reason I mention it is I see you are in Ohio, and I am too - Wadsworth.
