Thumbs up Atv ride in WV..

Just returned from a six day ride in the mountains of West Virginia...Every day a different trail..Averaged about 65-70 miles a day.Seven Polaris's and one Honda..After all that riding I think we soon will have a new Polaris owner..The last day he got to ride a 550 and was realy impressed..His comment was "My back and A#* did not hurt today"..Great weather and great scenery..ALMOST HEAVEN WEST VIRGINIA.............

We got home yesterday from Hatfield McCoy...we rode Indian Ridge and Pinnacle Creek on Friday and Saturday. Came home with 236 miles in two days! Looks like we are going back in June, July, and November...can't wait!

I am planning our first trip there and was actually looking at staying at Ashland and doing Pinnacle and Indian Ridge for our first time. Thinking of going up on a Thursday, ride all day Friday and Saturday and head home (6 hours) on Sunday...is that doable? Do those two trail systems offer good (varied) terrain?

That is what we did...arrived thursday night, rode all day friday (110 miles) and saturday (125 miles) and the 5 hour+ drive home on Sunday! There is plenty of mileage and terrain to keep you entertained for the weekend! Plan away and enjoy!!

Hi, we're planning a trip and staying at the Ashland Resort. I heard some 'chatter' about a restaurant called "Rider's Paradise" ... Maybe you heard of it??? Is it very far from the 'resort'??

Never heard of it! We have ridden a few miles out of ashland-like 425 miles-over the last two trips, but never heard of that!
