Exclamation My new 05 scrammy :)

bought a 2005 Scrambler today. great shape, completely stock other than a swing arm skid plate and a k and n air filter. I have a few questions. One, I have a pair of powermadds that I would like to put on and was wondering what mounts people were using. and if they will work. also I am going to get a hitch. if anyone has on for sale let me know. Finally, eventually I would like to put a trail tech on it. anyone done it and do you like it. thanks picks to come soon.

Sounds like mine! Also an 05, no skid but a K&N.

For a rear hitch, I have a CMP brand hitch from Dennis Kirk. It was like $30 and has worked well for moving my larger trailers in the yard and towing around a plastic lawn trailer.

I have a Trail Tech. The button openings are too big and allow mud to get in around the buttons so you can no longer press them until you've rinsed them clean. I was super excited to get it but I've only ever ridden with it on a couple times.

I always use Polaris fluid in the hubs. I have seen alternate sugestions, but the amount needed is so little, the cost is really not that bad. IMO.
