Upgrading to the RZR Belt for my Scrambler 500
#3
Its a tighter fit because its the "Wrong" size belt. I have a 160hp ski-doo 800 E-Tech sled and I can tell you now its belt is no stronger than whats on my 35hp ATV. All belts are as tough as the next.
For example, aftermarket Dayco HPX belts are all made the "exact same way" but they make one to fit a 18hp ski-doo 300 Tundra as well as a 160 hp 800 MXZ, but you still have to look up the HPX code number to buy the one made to fit that certain make, model, and year machine.
When you started that ATV up the secondary should not of been turning,my guess is at idle the ATV is heading for a wall or across the street.
Good video on how to change a belt though.
Material wise, the belt from a 250 Trail boss is as tough as whats on a XP850 but you still can,t inter change them.
