How much oil does the front and rear gearcase take?

 

Transmission has a 7/16" drain lug and a hollow hex fill plug at the back. Front has the same type drain and fill plug. I just filled to the bottom of the threads. Both have a vent tube,doesn't hurt to have a little over. Think the rear diff holds 7 ounces 80/90 GL5(may be wrong on this) OPT

 

The manual says 5oz. for each but I do like OPT said, to the bottom of threads which is a little more than manual says...

I found the 5oz did not fill to the bottom of the thread for the front and rear, that is why I was asking. I will add some more to bring it to the bottom threads. Thanks!!!
