Default tranny fill on an 08 500 scrammy???

where's the tranny fill location on a 2008 scrambler 500-

is it the plug on top of the pull starter housing?

I removed the 3/4 plug on the rear left side of the motor- about 3/4 quart of purple came out. I'm assuming it's tranny?

Trannys not part of the motor. The plug on the left side (as you are sitting on the atv) is the drain). Fill plug is on the right side. Can't remember if it's a 9/16" plug or a hex plug at the back. OPT

thanks opt-

the more I look at it the more it seems it's probably gear case fluid?

I don't see any hex bolt on the rear right- I'll search again...

this is what happens when a can-am owner starts fiddling around with a polaris

Then look right over the right floor board and you might see a 9/16" bolt for the transmission fill. Some were hard to see. OPT

you da man, opt!

just behind the floor board- just had to pull back the plastic and I could see it.

a cleaned out tire slime bottle makes the perfect tool to reach those tight areas to fill
