Engine Rebuilts- How long did it take?
#4
I would ask them if they will honor the warranty for 7 months instead of the normal 6, considering that you couldn't drive it for a month. If I remember right, wasn't yours needing to be fixed due to a casting flaw, rather than something breaking while you were riding it? I would think they should do that.
No, that isn't the record. My brother was supposed to put a carb kit in my old high school car (1971 Dodge - no Al Bundy jokes, please) when I started driving it (in 1985). I was a Sophomore at the time. Dad even bought the parts. It tured out to be quicker to take auto shop my Junior year, and do it then. I guess technically, I have been waiting for 16 years. Too bad the car was sold about 10 years ago, as my brother probably is about ready to start on it.
