Default CV Boot Cover?

Have you heard of a cv boot protector that goes over the boot itself? The dealer told me about them. I want to buy them. I can’t find any doing a google search. Do you know where I can get some?

Thanks.

I've had those before. The dealer was talking about something that went directly over the rubber cv boot itself.

I had them on my 95 Wolverine, got them from the Yamaha dealer, they were Kevlar fabric boot covers that velcroed over the CV boot, then a zip tie was threaded through slots on both ends and pulled tight to keep it in place, ran it like that for 15 years with no problems, sold it with the boots still in place, just getting a little ragged from age and wear and tear. Check with Yamaha and see if they still offer them.
