Trail boss 330 fuel tank instal.... Stuck....
Got a friends two 2006 trailboss 330s running for him by cleaning the carbs out... I cannot for the life of me get the damn gas tank back on, the bolts are not lining up...
I found the diagram online, Polaris ATV Parts 2004 A04CA32AA TRAIL BOSS 330 FUEL TANK - A04CA32AA-AB-FA Diagram
It's bolt number 6 in the diagram. I can't get it to go in straight, when I have the fuel tank on, the bolt still seems to only go at an angle....
Any thoughts???
Thanks

The tabs at the front need to be fully seated before it all lines up. A little different than the 325 I had, but the same type of tab thingy's at the front.

Ya, I figured I might have to try a little better and getting it lined up, or might be pinching something. Was hoping someone had some tricks....
Thanks, I will make sure the tabs fully seat and nothing is being pinched..

I think at one time, some of the wiring harness going up through the stem got caught between the tank and the frame too.
I'm guessing the one thing they didn't change was the need to take the top half of the quad apart just to get to the carb.
