Default 2003 Polaris predator 90 no spark new stator

I have a 90 cc predator that's been sitting for a year . I went to try and start it but it wouldn't crank. I cleaned the carb, jets , air filter. I bought a new stator and plug for it but they won't even spark either. The battery is completely shot. Would this help cause this? The fuse is fine plus I did a ohm test on the new stator. I'd love some opinions in helping

Welcome! Battery can be dead and you can still have spark and crank up by kick starting.Check all the connections, make sure the coil has a good ground to the frame. If the cdi still has the speed limiter jumper plate remove it,plus you can tie the two tether safety switch wires together to eliminate this as a problem. Also check the ignition switch wires as the early models had a habit of soldered wires coming loose from the back of the switch. See if any of this helps. OPT
