I bought a 2007 Polaris new and from day one the gas gauge has never worked properly and I didn't care but now the spedo dial keeps flashing and the word fuel keeps popping up at the readout. The gauge reads empty when its full but it has been sitting on empty for couple years...go figure.

This has probably been beat to death but does anyone have a solution?

One other thing....with good maintainence and mostly ranch work how many hours will one of these go?

 

Check out the post directly below yours as to what another member has found on saturated floats.Could be your problem OR some non efi models with the wire float arm would stick against the tank also causing problems on correct fuel level and flashing fuel light.These arms can be bent out a little to where they will register properly.
