Default Older polaris plow help

First off I have a 06 polaris hawkeye 300. I just picked up a cheap polaris brand plow off Craigslist, three is no information on it that would give away what it belongs to. The guy I bought it off said it came off his 500 sportsman, not sure of year. Anyway I plan on making this fit my hawkeye , it came with the mounting plate so I'm hopping to make that fit on my machine.
Just wondering if anyone has done this before? If anyone could give me some pointers or what not. Thanks ill post aid of the plow, maybe someone can tell me what it goes on.

It's a completely different frame so you will probably have to do some drilling on the mount (or frame) to make the holes line up.

I have the exact same plow. Mine came off a 200X sportsman 400. I went to two difference Polaris dealer and none were able to get me the proper plate for my 2002 Sportman 700 twin. So I took the mounting plate that came with the plow and with a few holes and C-clamps I made it fit to my 700.
My plate is a lot more flat and longer than the one on your picture.
