At the shop years ago we ordered a right side brake master cylinder from a 6x6 and installed it on a Sportsman 500 for a man that had a handicap with his left hand(missing a few fingers). Can't remember if we were able to use the oem brake line or had to have a special brake line made up or not,but it worked good enough for him to get around. This ones cheaper than the oem. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-FRONT-BR...153069&vxp=mtr

thats kinda the reason for my switch, 2005 i lost my left arm(hence the name) so yeah that ride side lever looks like it would be perfect except it doesnt look like my oem line will fit, ill have to look around a bit more to see if i can find 1 without having to rig a new brake line...thanx for the reply!

Sorry about your problem, but you can get an oem from Polaris that will work, but they are about $50 more than this one if it matters. Good luck. OPT

Tail light comes on with the ignition. The brake light sensor is screwed into the block where the brake lines gather and the pressure sensor triggers the brake light. Doesn't matter on what type of master cylinder you use! This one should work just fine.#2050075 http://www.cyclepartswarehouse.com/f...2000&fveh=5533
Just not sure if the stock line will reach. OPT

ok, wasnt aware the brake light switch was activated by the pressure, should have looked at it a little better i guess lol..at any rate, that lever would work yes, as would the first one you posted if i modified the brake line...unless im missing something they both have the same style brake line where mine does not look like that...heres the diagram of mine Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse dif. brake lines right?

Yes as far as I remember the brake line is too short to work on the right side. There are places that can make the line up for you or you possibly can order the right or left caliper lines that are longer and may be long enough to work? It's been too long since we did that Sportsman and my old memory fails me at what we did as far as the brake line. I think we had one made up locally using the original one as a guide?? OPT

A person could also fab up a hard-line/spacer, or drill out a small aluminum block to stretch things out to where the shorter line would work.
