Default how can i load my sportsman?!?!?!?

so i took the clutch cover and belt off my quad so i could wash the oil off. but i need to take it to the heated car wash to wash and dry it so it doesn't freeze. my quad won't start because its so cold and i started winching it on the ramps into my truck, but then the winch crapped out! so the front tires are on the ramps and me and my brother can't push it up at all. i don't know who to call, how can i get my quad up the ramps without driving it?

Do you have a ****** block for your winch? Does the winch have a free spool mode? I had to use a small chain between the truck bed tie-downs. Connected the ****** block to it, ran my cable from the winch to the block than back out of the truck bed. Than use a chain to hook to another truck/car to pull it into the truck. Could also work without the ****** block. Just have to work slow

i don't have a ****** block but it does have free spool mode. do you mean put the chain across the box on the tie downs? get another chain and put it around, and out the box to the other vehicle?

If you know someone with an engine hoist you could hoist the front onto the tailgate and then hoist the back and push it in.

I agree with jgar just get some come alongs and crank it up there its simple and you could unload it at the car wash for easier washing then load it back up that same way if you needed to.

take it out of gear if it's in and put in free spool mode and with another helper you should be able to push it by hand.

Yea, that's close......put the first chain across the box on the tie downs. Than use the cable from your winch to put around that chain. Than run your cable out the back of the truck. You may or may not need the other chain to attach to a pulling vehicle.

As another member mentioned the come-a-longs would work also.
