Been looking for a newer quad for a while. I had a 1992 Kawasaki Bayou which I finally sold it and found a 2005 Sportsman 600 at the local Polaris dealer. ATVs sell high here so I did not steal it but got a reasonable deal I think. I got it for 3500 off the lot with a new 2500lb polaris winch installed. It has 1922 miles so it is about right as far as I can tell from Blue Book and I know the dealer checked out the basics as far as belt ect goes. It has a lockable storage box on the back and a gun scabbard as well. I pick it up Saturday!

Good luck on the new ride! You have the later Kokusan ignition system also and not the failure prone Ducati system.

 

I think you'll be happy with it. The 600 has 25% more torque than the 500 in case you want to do any work with it.

 

Dang......when I saw pulled the trigger, i figured someone finally had it with his Polaris and shot it...............hee hee hee. just kidding guys.
