Synthetic grease is best they say on the caliper slides, but plain old moly lithium base grease is just fine. I had a 30 gallon drum of it for my grease gun so I used it on everything that needed greasing

Thanks again. I have a bottle of synthetic brake grease for my GM (04) 1500, I will use that.
