Question Cooler hose,remote valve ???

when i look up my oil lines for my 00TB325 they say "COOLER HOSE,REMOTE VALVE"....does "REMOTE VALVE" really have anything to do with the line? looks to me like they are regular hydraulic type lines??

You've got the later oil lines and fittings (they were changed 3 times!) The first ones out had a "remote fitting" and I only uncrated a couple early ones like this. Shortly after it had and "update kit" with just two lines, then the final updated version that had the fittings you have now. Since you have the updated fittings by the oil filter, you need to use the 2002 oil lines. They originally came as a kit (hoses, fittings, new clamps for the oil cooler fittings) for the final update for the 2000 model and later. I had to install a bunch of these. The main reason for the change was the "remote valve" was removed and screw fittings were installed in place of the barbed fittings that could blow off and ruin the engine real quick when it blew out all the oil.You need two of item #1.They're the same length. all it looks like i need to me is a couple flanged lines that screw onto my fittings at the oil filter which is 3/8jic...cut the hose to length and slap some good hose clamps on the oil cooler side

Yea I would think you could without paying $38 for oem hoses. Best if they are angled swiveled fittings so the hoses could route properly without kinking.
