I've never seen a Polaris 3-wheeler. I think I saw one in an old magazine ad once.

 

Only had one 86 model come into the shop that I can remember. Never was a big fan of having to reach down and shift gears on the transmission itself, on the Scrambler or the early 4 wheelers also. Who knows,it may some day be a collectors item like the Big Red is becoming,but I kinda doubt it..

 

I had no idea Polaris even made a 3 wheeler. May be worth getting as a collectible.

 

i have a 84 honda trx 200 quad sitting in a co-workers back yard
i am going to cut off the front suspension sub frame and install big red forks
( basically the trx 200 quad is just a big red frame with the front cage welded on )
the 84 big red`s did not have rear suspension , but the trx 200`s do
add to that the trx 200 still had low gearing and reverse

 

if this polaris 3 wheeler is still available in the new year
i will buy it and store it down at my co-workers place
he has a ton of trails down around his place
