Default Can a senior change Rubber axle boot 400 Sportsman

Should this be done by dealer or can I change it myself, need special tools?

If your able to get around on your knees or sit on your butt and have better hands than I do you can do it. Common tool set is needed along with a cheap cv boot clamp pliers. You don't say what year model or whether its a 400 2 stroke or 4 stroke, but the boots are basically the same. This video shows how to remove the shaft from the cv joint. You don't have to tear the cv joint apart as he shows, just slip on a new boot and clamps.Having a good service manual helps too on repairs.Plus there are several more videos on boot and cv repair on Youtube you can look at and decide if you want to do it or let someone else.

Are you on an adroid device? I ask because my tablet won't show a youtube video posted on here, but if I go to the youtube website and search for the exact same video, I can watch it.
